There isn't a code book I can sell you on this, this one is tricky. The first step is to
take the time to really look over your website, and see what kind of people would be
interested in going to it. You can't just say that everyone will be interested in going to your
website because that is not true, everyone is not a potential client, while you might think
that the internet is more of a mass media, it is very personal, only people who will want what
your page has to offer is potential clients. You have to remember this because it is very
important, be respectfull of your viewers, give them advertisements that they are going to want
to visit, and they will visit them and you will make money in the process, but if you pick
advertisements that they don't want, they won't click on them and as far as they are concerned
it's just slowing download time. You are not going to be able to make money off of a website
if you design the website for you. You want to make it appealing to your viewers,
because they are the key to makeing your money, in reality there makeing money for you so make
there experience on your website as enjoyable as possible. So I hope you realize who your
website is for. Let's continue.
Is your website for children? then you might want to try advertising for
some video game company's, or paintball equipment. The trick of course
is to figure out what your target audience will like. It's not as easy as it might seem.
One idea that works is asking them what they want. Post your email adress, or a survey on
your website to find out what kind of things that they are interested in besides what your
website is about, witch brings us to our next topic. Because your viewers are on your website
that means that they are interested in what your website is about, so that means its a good idea
to get some affiliate programs up that are on topic with your website, so if your website is
about making money from your website, put affiliate programs up that have to do with makeing
money on your website. So now you hopefully know who to target your advertisements towards
your viewers, so get out there and put some affiliate programs up on your website, but remember
don't over do it, no one likes to look at a website with more advertisements then it has content.
1-3 affiliate programs per page should be a rule of thumb to follow.
Don't be too worried if you don't get the hang of this write away, because like everything else it does require a certain amount of time, effort, and above all, experimenting.
