Crawler-Based Search Engines visit your web site and compile listings, witch mean that most likely you will have several differant pages of your web site on there search engines. If you would like certain pages of your web site not to be added to there directories, simple add this meta tag command to every page you do not want to be indexed in between your <head> and </head> tags:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex">
This tells the crawlers, otherwise known as robots not to index this page, while it is not sugested because you want as much traffic as your web site can generate, and this limits all your web pages from being listed, you may go ahead and do as you please. Because these search engines list all your web pages it is important to have a good overall web site, and not just a catchy main page. For this reason i suggest you browse through my Search Engine Optimization tutorial and my Web Site Optimization tutorial and any other's contained through out my Optimization page and my Web Site Promotion page. The following is a list of crawler-based search engines that you should take the time to submit to. Most of them are linked directly to the add url page.
